Dr Anthony Ng

Dr. Anthony Ng has over 20 years of experience in finance and business operations, with a proven track record in the fintech and virtual asset industry, and a deep understanding of various financial products.

He has worked with top financial institutions, including Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, and Myriad Asset Management. Previously, he held the position of Managing Director of CITIC Futures International, where he provided electronic trading support and services to global clients.

Dr. Ng has a DBA from the University of South Australia, an MPhil from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and a BBA from Hong Kong Baptist University. He has conducted extensive research in Artificial Neural Network, Algo Trading, and Trading Systems, which has provided him with unique insights into the latest financial innovations.

Currently, Dr. Ng serves as the Vice Chairman of the Global Investment Fund and the Vice Chairman of the Financial & Treasury Services Committee of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce (HKGCC). In addition to that, he is a member of the Industry Expert Committee of the Greater Bay Area Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Foundation. He also holds positions as a committee member of the Fintech Working Group, and Digital, Information & Telecommunications Committee of the HKGCC. Previously, he served as a member of Telecommunications Users and Consumers Advisory Committee (TUCAC) of Office of the Communications Authority (OFCA).

In 2022, Forbes China recognized Dr. Ng as a Web3.0 Innovation Pioneer, a testament to his contributions and dedication to the industry. With his expertise, leadership, and commitment to innovation, he continues to be at the forefront of driving innovation and progress in the world of finance and technology.
